A severe cyclonic storm named ‘Ockhi’ is threatening parts of India and Sri Lanka with a high risk of local flash flooding along with an elevated risk for mudslides over the week.
It is estimated that so far nearly 20,000 people have been affected by the weather, with deaths sadly being reported.
Concordia’s Sri Lankan office, located in the capital Colombo, continues to be heavily involved in providing claims assistance to Insurers, Reinsurers and Brokers.
