Post Hurricane Harvey Update: Concordia's team and Associates ready to assist
5th September 2017
Hurricane Harvey was the first major hurricane to make landfall in the United States since 2005, leaving more than 300,000 people without electricity and causing billions of dollars of property damage in the southern Texas.
The unprecedented rainfall and flooding resulted in the temporary shut-down of key Oil & Gas facilities along the Texas Gulf Coast. Dozens of Oil & Gas platforms had to be evacuated, and several refineries and petrochemical plants suspended operations.
As the extent of damage caused by Harvey begins to emerge and Insurers are notified of claims, Concordia’s Energy Team is on standby to assist in the evaluation of infrastructure damage as well as property claims, business interruption and marine losses.
Our expertise includes:
- Onshore/Offshore Oil & Gas Production
- Pipelines & Infrastructure

Working with our local Associates based in Houston and across the state, we are able to provide immediate assistance and resources to ensure that all clients are able to quantify their losses and resolve their claims effectively.
